Along with investments in popular web brands like Kickstarter (crowdfunding), Warby Parker (eyewear), Harry’s (razors), Spotify (streaming music), Whisper (anonymous social network), and Fiftythree (creative software for mobile), Thrive Capital has made it's way into the CRE tech scene with a $4 million investment in Honest Buildings and investments in Hightower, 42Floors and Urban Compass.
Canaan Partners, a global VC firm, invests in people with visionary ideas; ones that result in new and innovative technologies. They made their CRE tech footprint by investing $4.4 million in Compstak, a database of thousands of unbiased commercial real estate comps.
